Maptek develops hardware and software solutions worldwide for the mining industry. The Forge newsletter case study highlighted how we use laser scanning technology to give our customers confidence about inventory levels.
The laser technology regularly scans stockpiles and provides volumetric analysis as part of our internal process auditing. Basically, this service helps us ensure internal measures are accurate and gives us and our customers an extra level of confidence regarding inventory levels.
